Ms. MacArthur's 2nd Grade class of Los Alamitos Elementary created this palm tree mosaic. The design is a drawing from one of the students. In making this project, the class learned about recycled art as well as the art of mosaic. We used broken plates, vitreous tile, and tumbled stained glass.
