Engaging a community to create art is an amazing experience for all involved. Community projects bring a sense of ownership to a group and space. | I love working with schools, bringing the tactile art of mosaic into their curriculum. From small in-class group projects, to larger murals, the experience of creating art is easily integrated into relevant studies. | ||||||||||||||||||||

| I am happy to be a part of this wonderful program that brings mosaic art to underserved areas of Los Angeles. Founded by Sophie Alpert, this project builds both self-confidence and community pride as well as brings together families to create mosaic art. The program is designed to empower individuals by helping them learn skills and sell their works of art. Piece by Piece has annual art shows, returning profits to the artist.
