FREE Mosaic Workshops at 2cc Gallery
Each Sunday of the month, we explore a different environmental topic, learning how to make our homes, our communities, and our earth more sustainable and welcoming to urban nature through the expression of art and gardening.
In addition to learning about butterflies, birds, native plants and our local ocean ecosystem through guest speakers and artists, we will also create both individual projects to take home, and work on larger community projects that will be installed in the garden of the gallery for everyone to enjoy

Mosaic Garden Sphere
Create a mosaic garden sphere in this 3-session class. We will focus on the pique assiette style of mosaic, which incorporates a myriad of materials. Instruction includes materials selection, tool use, design elements, and cutting techniques. The last class will be a grouting night. Bring an apron or old shirt to protect clothing. All materials and supplies included. Tools are provided for class use.
